FraudArmor Lite will provide a professional Resolution Specialist who will assess the problem and act quickly to assist you with the effects of fraudulent transactions that might affect your account due to any type of check fraud.

In addition, if you need to close your current checking account, FraudArmor Lite will supply you with replacement checks for your new checking account free of charge. All checks in your order will reflect the FraudArmor logo signifying your eligibility and as a warning to thieves.

Q: What Fraudulent acts are covered by FraudArmor Lite?

Fraudulent acts covered by FraudArmor Lite include:

  • a forged signature (a legitimate blank check that is forged with the business signature as the maker)
  • a forged endorsement (a legitimate check that is endorsed and cashed or deposited by a person other than the designated payee based upon a fraudulent endorsement)
  • an altered check (a legitimate check that is fraudulently altered as to the designated payee, check amount, or otherwise so as to benefit the person altering the check)

Q: How did FraudArmor Lite get included in my check order?

FraudArmor Lite Check Fraud Recovery is included with all personal check orders. Should you be affected by check fraud, as described herein, we encourage you to take full advantage of the service.

Q: If I suspect check fraud on one or more of the checks featuring FraudArmor Lite, what do I do?

If you suspect a check fraud event has occurred:

Step 1: Call 1 (866)-923-0452 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to speak with a FraudArmor Lite representative. If fraud has occurred, a Resolution Specialist will be assigned to you and will be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern time.

Step 2: Your Resolution Specialist will provide the documents and will help you complete the paperwork needed to begin your fraud remediation.

Q: Is FraudArmor Lite the same as insurance?

No, FraudArmor Lite assists you in recovering from check fraud, including working with financial institutions and other entities to regain funds lost due to fraud. FraudArmor Lite advances funds of up to $2,500 on qualified losses while we work with your financial institution to regain the lost funds.

Q: How long am I eligible for FraudArmor Lite services?

The program is available for up to one year (12 months) from the time the specific check order was shipped to you or until you use the last check in that specific order, whichever comes first.

FraudArmor Lite is fully owned and managed by Harland Clarke Corp., a leading manufacturer of printed check products. Harland Clarke utilizes one-or more services providers to provide the services under FraudArmor Lite, as further described in the Terms and Conditions.
